Following the continued development of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, and in line with government advice, Printworks venues are currently in the process of reopening. The health of our tenants, centre teams and visitors is paramount and we are working hard to ensure people are being supported wherever possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. Please click here to view our safety procedures and venue opening information.

We’ve launched a new digital campaign to bring together the people of Manchester virtually during the lockdown.

Inspired by the popular Humans of New York campaign, Humans of Manchester aims to focus on the amazing people that make up our great city, whilst spreading positive messages and support during a difficult time.

We know Manchester is a thriving city, usually full of friends and family spending time together in our busy bars and restaurants until the lockdown was put in place back in March, forcing the region into months of social isolation like never before.

Based on our social media channels, Humans of Manchester encourages people to upload a video and share their favourite things about the city, what they miss and the first places and activities they will be doing when the lockdown is lifted. Helping to bridge the gap that social isolation has created.

Once the two week campaign ends, we will choose a winner at random who will receive £200 of Printworks vouchers, which can be used at any of our venues when we reopen.

Adam Jackson, Marketing Manager at Printworks, said: “One of the most difficult aspects of the COVID-19 lockdown is being isolated and separated from the ones we love. We want our Humans of Manchester campaign to spread positivity across the city and bring us back together to celebrate everything that is Manchester and help people to look forward to the future.

“Printworks has been at the heart of Manchester for over 20 years, supporting and celebrating throughout the city’s history. It is no different during the COVID-19 lockdown, we want to encourage everyone to get involved and we can’t wait to see the amazing video entries.”
