On Saturday, 8th March, Printworks celebrated International Women’s Day with a stunning 1,000m² digital art installation— a UK first—honouring the women of Manchester. Europe’s largest digital ceiling lit up with inspiring portraits by Manchester artist Laura Frances Heitzman, set against iconic city backdrops.

Alongside the display, our special Makers Market showcased incredible female-led businesses, with music from the talented DJ Sez Benny and tarot readings by Solar Sister, creating an unforgettable celebration of identity, empowerment, and representation.
