Saturday 29th November saw an incredible turnout as visitors gathered to kick off the festive season with an unforgettable evening of colour, music and celebration at our Christmas Light Switch On.

Hosted by local favourite Will Mellor, the night highlighted our brand new Santa, filling Europe’s largest digital ceiling, and letting visitors know who made it to the the naughty or nice list. Our entire entire space became a dazzling show of vibrant visuals that transformed Printworks into a festive wonderland.

Entertainment kept the crowds buzzing all night long with a feel-good singalong with Will Mellor before the big switch-on, Mr Wilson’s Second Liners brought unbeatable energy throughout the evening singing and dancing with our visitors and DJ Jack Clark kept everyone dancing into the night.

The night was a festive start to Christmas at Printworks, perfect for families and friends to soak up the seasonal spirit.

The festivities don’t stop there. Throughout December our interactive Digital Christmas Tree is giving visitors the chance to win fantastic prizes all month. All you need to do is stop by, scan the QR code and enter to be in with the chance of winning lots of festive surprises.

In a spectacular moment of celebration, local hero Javeno McLean was honoured by Paddy McGuinness on Europe’s largest digital ceiling, recognising his incredible work transforming lives through fitness and kindness.

Renowned as “the place Manchester comes to celebrate,” Printworks provided the perfect backdrop for this heartwarming tribute. Javeno, a personal trainer who offers free sessions to elderly people and individuals with disabilities at his Manchester gym, has inspired countless lives through his compassion and dedication.
