Pride Month at Month

Printworks and Kaleidoscope Trust Illuminate LGBTQ+ Voices Across Europe’s Largest Digital Ceiling

United in colour this June

We’re proud to partner with Kaleidoscope Trust this Pride Month to present a free, powerful visual tribute to LGBTQ+ voices in the heart of Manchester.

Running all June, Europe’s largest digital ceiling transforms into a bold celebration of LGBTQ+ resilience and diversity, featuring icons like Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s Lill, and Great British Sewing Bee winner Luke-Matthew Iveson.

More than a celebration, the campaign highlights the global fight for LGBTQ+ rights – raising awareness and encouraging support for those still facing persecution in over 65 countries.

Lill Lights UP!

The fabulous Lill – star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season Six – has exclusively unveiled Printworks’ Pride Month campaign, bringing unstoppable energy and flair to Europe’s largest digital ceiling.

This vibrant showcase is bursting with Lill’s signature style, glamour, and unapologetic confidence. From dazzling visuals to powerful messages, every frame celebrates bold self-expression and fearless individuality.

Lill’s digital residency is more than a display – it’s a rallying call to embrace who you are, stand tall, and shine bright. With charisma and creativity, Lill invites everyone to join the celebration of pride, empowerment, and community spirit.

Luke Threads Pride Together

This Pride Month, we’re celebrating queer creativity, craftsmanship, and self-expression with Luke-Matthew Iveson, fresh from his win on BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee.

Luke and the tools that stitched his success will take centre stage on our iconic digital ceiling, shining a vibrant spotlight on the beautiful blend of identity and artistry.

Don’t miss this colorful tribute honouring Luke’s creative journey and the wider LGBTQ+ community.

Honouring Lady Phyll, CEO of UK Black Pride

We’re proud to celebrate Lady Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, Co-founder and CEO of UK Black Pride, a tireless and fearless advocate for Queer, Trans, and Intersex People of Colour (QTIPOC).

Through decades of activism and leadership, Lady Phyll has been a driving force in advancing LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion, both across the UK and on the global stage. Her work has helped create vital safe spaces, amplify marginalized voices, and challenge systemic barriers faced by QTIPOC communities.

This Pride Month, Printworks honours her powerful legacy with a striking tribute on our digital ceiling – recognising her unwavering commitment to social justice, community empowerment, and building a more inclusive future for all.

Kaleidoscope Trust

Alex Farrow, Chief Executive Officer at Kaleidoscope Trust, said: “Pride Month is a time of visibility, celebration and protest for the LGBTI+ community and it’s great to see that highlighted so prominently at Printworks. In many countries public displays such as this would be unimaginable and would lead to imprisonment or violence. We’re therefore delighted that Printworks are also using this display to raise awareness of our work and to encourage their visitors to donate to help us fight for a world where LGBTI+ people are free, safe and equal everywhere.”

On-site screens in Printworks’ Pumpyard further spotlight the work of Kaleidoscope Trust, with a QR code enabling visitors to donate directly to support frontline activists and organisations across the globe.
